I documented the peace lines in Belfast form 2014-2016, which total nearly 26kms to provide hard barriers between protestant and catholic communities. Their purpose? To avoid conflict and retain 'peace'. The extent of these walls is vast and includes an underground wall to separate protestant & catholic graves.

In 2013, a 10 year plan was put in place to remove the interfaces from the 98 (approx) sites. In 2023, only a handful of these have been taken down; most are still in place or have been replaced with more aesthetically pleasing versions.

The book was created to document these structures.
